Because it works through the user's browser, WebShell lets you or your customers get at the necessary files from virtually any computer in the world. And since it can be used with a secure web server, you don't have to sacrifice your security for ease of use.
    WebShell 2.3 is a combination of CGI Script, HTML and JavaScript and works with all Unix compliant operating systems, as well as with popular browsers. The setup is simple, as WebShell relies on system services to obtain user information and file permissions during its operation.
    With WebShell, a shell account, useless to an Internet novice will instantly turn into a remote hard drive, handy for storing valuable files while on the road, at work or at home. If you provide your customers or employees with disk space on your Unix server, they will appreciate WebShell for all that it allows them to do, and for the simplicity and flexibility it offers.
